Italian Fashion Exhibition
V&A Museum
The client wanted an exhibition to chart the history of Italian Fashion from isolated, war-torn Italy in 1945 to the 21st century when the country lead the world in style, craftsmanship, design and glamour.
After several years of curatorial research, we joined the team to develop a chronological exhibition with 7 discreet sections to communicate the evolution of the fashion industry. Each section was designed to exploit the height and width of the V&A’s large temporary galleries.
The exhibition successfully communicated the untold story of how Italy built its global reputation for glamour and informed today’s current fashion culture.
