Woodland Heritage

When Alex went to join Woodland Heritage in Herefordshire, the rain drops did not dampen an inspiring field weekend!

At the weekend John Orchard, CEO of the charity, made the formal announcement of the charity’s planned programme of the “Open woods and workshops programme”.

The Friday included an exhibition of timber products by WH members. These included timber cycles from Twmpacycles, Benches from Gaze Burvill and students from the Snowdon School of Furniture at Highgrove.

As part of this exhibition we showed a new design project, currently in progress, this project came about from a request from BB&R and Symington Family Estates to commission a piece of art or furniture for the project at Hambledon Vineyard.

They requested that the commission was to be undertaken by a Woodland Heritage member as part of their generous and ongoing support of the UK charity.
